Recently, Nataliya Kabatsiy, the director of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattia, and Eugenia Melesh, the organization's lawyer, paid a working visit to the Parasolka Social Abilitation and Rehabilitation Centre of the Zakarpattia Regional Council.

Together with Oksana Lukach, director of "Parasolka", the visitors examined the construction of new functional premises and discussed the issue of opening a new department, which in May 2021 will begin to provide social services based on a habilitation and rehabilitation center. So, they talked about the procedure for organizing the provision of these services and the requirements of the state standard for the provision of social day care services for children and persons with disabilities.

At this stage, the parties involved are working out algorithms for implementing the mission of the new unit, while potential clients are regulating issues with the necessary accompanying documentation. Everything is being done so that specialists have every reason and opportunity to provide relevant services in a timely manner from the date of opening.

"Parasolka" is currently in quarantine due to a coronavirus pandemic to protect its residents from the insidious disease. Life goes on in the institution – there are creative and craft workshops, where young people with disabilities learn new techniques and improve their skills, spring work has begun in the greenhouse and garden, the territory is being landscaped.

This year will be eventful, despite the external conditions for "Parasolka", its partners, and friends. As last year's experience has shown, any plan can be realized provided well-coordinated systematic work.
