Recently a place unique in its content and purpose was opened in Uzhhorod – the confectionery studio "Fioletovo", where you can enjoy sweets created by young people with mental disabilities. The Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattia also joined the launch of the institution.

It all started with the project "Golden Hearts of Zakarpattia ", which laid the foundation, ideas and ways to implement it. According to the project manager Olena Lohvinenko, among the tasks of the joint work is the development of methods for socialization, professional training of people with Down syndrome and autism.

In Uzhhorod, at Mitraka str. 11/4, there is a delicious, stylish, and cosy place, served with coffee and tea, incredible cakes, candies, éclairs, and marshmallows for visitors. And for some employees – a whole world of opportunities where they acquire, develop and realize their abilities, have art therapy classes, master classes, gain professional experience.

Under the guidance of pastry chef Pavel Bodak, young people learn the art of confectionery. The shop windows show a real variety of tastes, whereas the philosophy of "Fioletovo" is a philosophy of diversity, because all people are different, and every person is valuable and important both for other persons and for a society.
