As part of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" donated a batch of household appliances for two temporary accommodation facilities for internally displaced persons in Chernihiv region.

These are a modular town and a dormitory, which currently house more than 200 IDPs. To improve the conditions of stay in the facilities and simplify the resolution of everyday issues for residents, the Committee purchased and donated eight stoves of various models and three washer-dryers. The appliances have already been installed and are being used by people who were forced to leave their homes due to russian military aggression or lost their homes as a result of hostilities.

The modular town, which was supposed to be a temporary solution to provide civilians with a roof over their heads, has been home to dozens of residents for over three years. Therefore, support for the complex remains a relevant and sought-after area for attracting donor assistance.
