We have already reported on a large shipment of vehicles for the front lines that arrived from France from partners of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya from the Association SAFE. Now, a team of Ukrainian drivers is delivering these vehicles directly to units where they will assist military personnel and military medics.
This time, the vehicles were sent to Sumy and Donetsk regions. There, they will assist territorial defense brigades, assault and reconnaissance units, and military medics. These vehicles will be used to transport cargo, provide logistics between positions, evacuate wounded military personnel and civilians, tow vehicles, patrol, and more.
As a reminder, at the beginning of the summer, our French partners donated three powerful vehicles to the Ukrainian military and medical personnel.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale russian-Ukrainian war, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya has provided more than 90 vehicles – from off-road vehicles to bulldozers, from ambulances to fire trucks – to support the Security and Defense Forces, medics, and volunteers involved in reconstruction efforts. This level of assistance was made possible by the consolidation of efforts by many caring people on both sides of the border.
