As part of the PHENIX project, specialists from the contracting organization analyzed and assessed peak loads on the power grid at the Nyzhnyoselyshchenskyi Lyceum of the Khust City Council and the "Selyska Cheese Factory", which made it possible to determine the technical characteristics of future solar power plants for these facilities.

Today, during online meetings with representatives of the organization "Electricians without borders" (Électriciens sans frontières), the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya, structural units of the Khust City Council, and the NGO "Transcarpathian Association of Local Development", the capacity and configuration of hybrid solar power plants for the Nyzhnyoselyshchenskyi Lyceum and the "Selyska Cheese Factory" were agreed upon. Technical specialists from the contracting organization took into account the parameters of electricity consumption in conditions of a stable power grid and during emergency outages. This will ensure the energy autonomy of the specified facilities included in the project infrastructure. In particular, it was determined that it would be expedient to install a photo-agrivoltaic solar power plant for the cheese factory, which would enable the dual use of agricultural land.

Previous professional discussions focused on the specifics of implementing the technical specifications of the project for a fruit, vegetable, and wild plant processing plant.

As a reminder, analytical research on the locations for the implementation of the PHENIX project was recently launched in Transcarpathia.

The PHENIX project is being implemented jointly by "Electricians without borders" and the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya in partnership with the NGO "Transcarpathian Association of Local Development" with financial support from the French Development Agency (Agence Française de Développement, AFD).
