As part of the medical component of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya sent humanitarian aid to medical institutions in Kochubeyivka village, Kherson Oblast.
Kochubeyivka is a village in Beryslav district, Kherson region, which was occupied by the enemy at the beginning of the full-scale russian-Ukrainian war. As a result of the occupation, the village’s infrastructure was severely damaged, including the property of the Kochubeyivka Primary Health Care Center and the local first-aid post. In order to support the medical institutions and their patients, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya, upon request, donated a batch of medicines, vitamins and consumables to Kochubeyivka. This is the second specialized humanitarian aid within the project, which the organization has sent to Ukrainian hospitals. The first one was delivered in early January to doctors in Dnipro region.
The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
