As part of the medical component of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya sent humanitarian aid to the Dnipro Primary Health Care Center No. 120.
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast is a frontline region that suffers from daily enemy attacks. Despite the challenging security situation, local doctors continue to work as usual, seeing new patients every day, both local and IDPs from the temporarily occupied settlements. Therefore, support for the medical institution and its clients is urgent and necessary. In response to the request received, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya purchased and sent a cargo of medicines and supplies to Dnipro. This is the first medical humanitarian aid shipped in the new year of 2025, and last year the organization finished donating specialized aid to hospitals in Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
