Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya donated another humanitarian cargo of medicines and supplies to a Ukrainian hospital as part of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support".

This time, the assistance was provided to the Municipal Enterprise "Marhanets Central City Hospital" of the Marhanets City Council, a multidisciplinary medical institution that provides inpatient and outpatient medical care to the population of the Marhanets Territorial Community and surrounding areas in surgical, traumatological, anesthesiology, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, neurological, therapeutic with palliative care beds, infectious, pediatric profiles.

Currently, the institution is actively helping military personnel and internally displaced persons affected by the military aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine. Given that the Marhanets Territorial Community is located in the area of active hostilities, which has complicated logistics processes and increased the number of urgent patients, the stable operation of the local hospital required additional material and technical support. It was provided through cooperation with "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
