Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya has a friend in Switzerland – Michael Roffler. At one time, he wanted to be useful for Ukraine and thus found our charitable organization. Through the Committee, Michael and his organization "ProUkraїna" have repeatedly sent medicines, various equipment, supplies, furniture to Ukrainians in need... Today, thanks to our Swiss friend, a huge 660 kW generator-trailer was brought to Uzhhorod. It was unloaded at our humanitarian warehouse, and then the power generating equipment will be sent to Kramatorsk to strengthen the city’s heating network.

During emergency power outages, the new generator will power one of the local boiler houses, which supplies heat to 98 apartment buildings with more than 13,500 residents.

Michael Roffler also found and handed over to the Committee furniture that we are packing to send to a school in Chernihiv Oblast. Another shipment from Switzerland included a batch of dishes and equipment from our partners at the Association "Parasolka" to equip the renovated buildings of the Vilshany Children’s Orphanage.

We are grateful to our friends from abroad for their concern for the situation in the country and the needs of Ukrainians. Together, over the 2.5 years of the full-scale russian-Ukrainian war, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya has handed over almost 1500 generators and chargers to support the activities of medical, social and educational institutions, our Defenders, and the affected civilian population. Now, within the framework of the "Hybrid Solutions" project, which we are implementing with the financial support of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in cooperation with "Electriciens sans frontières", we are installing hybrid solar power plants at educational and healthcare institutions in several regions.
