Within the framework of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", we continue to implement measures to provide psychosocial support to the population, especially to specialists whose work is related to the provision of services to vulnerable groups.
Tetiana Hoydash, psychologist and curator of the medical direction of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya, conducted a series of seminars "Interaction of social workers with IDPs and vulnerable groups. Psychoeducation" for specialists of the Transcarpathian Pension Fund in Uzhhorod, Mukachevo and Khust.
The event focused on the possibilities of applying effective self-care practices to minimize the effects of stressful situations or prevent them. The specialist also spoke about ways to resolve conflict situations, strategies for reconciling interests, and the importance of finding compromises. These recommendations will both preserve the mental health of employees and positively affect the efficiency of the institution and its structural units.
Employees of pension funds in Zakarpattia are a category of specialists who, since the beginning of russian military aggression against Ukraine in 2014, have been under additional pressure due to internal migration. This often leads to crisis situations, conflicts, and tension in teams. Providing practical information on crisis prevention and overcoming its consequences, ways to preserve and maintain mental health, and harmonizing the psycho-emotional climate in teams is an important part of the CAMZ activities.
Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" is implementing the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
