Our project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is ongoing, with one of the key areas of support for war-affected civilians, large families and other vulnerable groups.

In April, families currently living in Zaporizhzhia Oblast receive the aid. Employees of the Oleksandrivskyi District Department of the Zaporizhzhia City Council’s Service for Children are helping to organize the aid directly. Together, the food kits have already been delivered to more than a hundred families.

So far, within the framework of the project supported by "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya has provided food to about 4,000 families in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, and Zakarpattia regions. The work continues.
