Our project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" continues. This time, with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office, almost half a thousand families with children received assistance.
The humanitarian mission was organized by volunteer Kira Lisman, who together with her team delivered the food kits to internally displaced families and other vulnerable groups in Kharkiv, Kirovohrad (shelter in Oleksandriya), Donetsk, Kherson, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Such aid is extremely important for people who have found themselves in difficulties due to russian military aggression, have been forced to leave their homes or live in settlements that are at the epicenter of enemy shelling.
Since the beginning of the project, the relevant categories of citizens have received food support in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, and Zakarpattia regions.
