Another mission within the framework of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" has been completed.

This time, the cargoes of medicines and consumables were received at the Central City Hospital of Our Lady of Pishchanka of the Izium City Council and the Pervomaysk Central District Hospital.

Medical institutions needed help to provide free surgical, trauma, and therapeutic treatment, including for patients from vulnerable groups such as internally displaced persons, families of fallen soldiers and civilians, and low-income citizens who cannot afford the necessary medicines.

As a reminder, within the framework of the project that the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya is implementing with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office, assistance in the form of medicines, medical equipment and supplies has already been provided to health care facilities in Rakhiv, Uzhhorod and Mukachevo in Zakarpattia, as well as Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kherson, Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
