Recently, another humanitarian mission of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya to distribute food kits to families with children from vulnerable groups has been completed.

This time, 250 families in Zaporizhzhia, the vast majority of whom are internally displaced persons from frontline and temporarily occupied settlements, received assistance under the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support". Employees of the Oleksandrivskyi District Department of the Zaporizhzhia City Council’s Service for Children helped to organize the assistance.

As a reminder, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya is implementing this project with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. So far, almost 3000 families in Chernihiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Zakarpattia, and Zaporizhzhia regions have already received food support.
