Our project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is ongoing, where one of the key areas is supporting war-affected civilians, large families and other vulnerable groups.
So, next in line is another city where our partners have organized the distribution of food kits on the spot. This time it is Oleksandriya in Kirovohrad Oblast, where Kira Lisman delivered humanitarian aid from the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya to several hundred IDPs. About 250 families with children from Kharkiv and Donetsk regions received the aid. Earlier, the volunteer had already delivered a similar cargo to the Kharkiv region.
In total, since the beginning of the project, which the Committee is implementing with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, the relevant categories of citizens in Kherson, Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia regions have received assistance in the form of food kits.
