The border area in the Kharkiv region. The situation there is extremely unstable, as the enemy does not leave the local settlements alone. Despite all the circumstances, our people live there and resist the daily challenges of wartime. We are happy to have the opportunity to support them. And this opportunity is part of a large project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", which is being implemented by the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
So, with the on-site support of volunteer Kira Lisman, the first batch of food was distributed to large families, single mothers, families with children with disabilities, IDPs and other vulnerable groups.
The work is ongoing and its positive result is the improvement the lives of Ukrainians who suffer the most from the russian occupation invasion.
As a reminder, residents of Kherson, Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia regions have already received similar assistance.
