The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is ongoing. One of its humanitarian areas is to help families with children in difficult life circumstances.

Throughout the month, the Committee has been purchasing food kits for IDP families with children and other vulnerable groups in Zaporizhzhia. With the assistance of the Oleksandrivskyi District Department of the Service for Children of Zaporizhzhia City Council, almost 320 families have already received assistance. The work continues.

As part of the project, which was made possible with the support of NGO "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, we planned to carry out such regional activities every month in different cities of Ukraine. Kherson region is next in line.
