These days, the roof of our shelter in Tyachiv has been repaired, which means that the first of the planned activities within the framework of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" has been completed!

In a fairly short period of time, repairs were carried out to completely renovate the roof and install a rooftop solar power system. Thus, the Committee has resolved the issue of improving the living conditions of more than 60 IDPs, in particular mothers with children and the elderly, and ensured the energy autonomy of the facility.

As a reminder, the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
