The agenda includes the peculiarities of the further functioning of the temporary accommodation facility for IDPs in Uzhhorod "PrykhystOK", implementation of current projects, areas of cooperation with partner organizations in Ukraine, etc.

Thus, the Uzhhorod shelter will continue its work for another year, accepting women with children free of charge under certain conditions whose housing was damaged, is located in the areas of hostilities or under temporary occupation. Currently, 15 IDPs live in the facility, seven of whom are children.

As for the current initiatives, the main focus is on the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", which the Committee is implementing with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. Activities are already underway to repair the roof on the Tyachiv Shelter, provide assistance to medical institutions in Zakarpattia and throughout Ukraine, work with children in cooperation with the NGO "Happy Children", and more. During the first month of project activities, it became systematic, and the formed team consciously works in the context of the mission and goals of the project, which focuses on children.

Despite the fact that the members of the Committee and volunteers of our "Humanitarian Battalion" are constantly in touch, the daily work does not allow us to meet together often. However, the important national holiday Independence Day was a great occasion to see each other, congratulate each other and coordinate work issues. So let’s keep working! Together!
