French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs supported the humanitarian initiative of the Charitable Organization "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" and became a financial partner in the implementation of the project for doctors and rescuers of Zaporizhzhia. Our friends – the SAFE Association (France) – also became participants of the project.

A working meeting of project managers, who agreed on an action plan for the next three months, was held at the Committee’s office. With the support of the people of France, medics and rescue workers in Zaporizhzhia region will receive aid. We are talking about medicines and equipment for hospitals, as well as equipment for debris removal and search for victims of emergencies. Unfortunately, due to the constant shelling of the Russian occupation forces, such aid is extremely urgent and important for the residents of the region, which is almost close to the front line.

French communities have long been a part of the foreign support group for Ukraine. Humanitarian cargoes, the delivery of which is coordinated by friends of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya Catherine Duplessis and Jacques Duplessis, have been repeatedly received in many corners of our country. The aid includes assistance to the affected civilian civilians, doctors, rescuers, and the volunteer community. Our cooperation continues and develops. Its efficiency and responsibility have led to a new stage of cooperation – with the involvement of French governmental structures. From now on, our civil diplomacy will be strengthened by the highest institutional support. Thank you, France, for your attention to our work and to the needs of the people of Ukraine!
