Two humanitarian cargoes from Canada containing anesthetic drugs "Lidocaine" and "Succinylcholine" have already arrived in Uzhhorod via Poland: the first by plane and the second by ship. This long and lengthy voyage was successful and marked the beginning of fruitful cooperation with Canadian partners.
So far, all the received aid has been delivered to Ukrainian hospitals, namely to almost 30 healthcare facilities in 16 regions of Ukraine. There, our doctors provide the necessary assistance to civilians and the military defending our country from Russian aggression.
On behalf of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya, we would like to thank the teams of Hikma Canada, Canadians Care Collective Fund, Health Partners International Canada, Markham Rotary Club, Maple Hope Foundation and Association Parasolka (Switzerland). We are also sincerely grateful to our fellow Transcarpathians in Canada – Paul Tabashov and Gabriela Bunchek. Thanks to you, it became possible to receive this important aid for our country. We are confident that together we will be able to solve more pressing issues and meet more requests caused by the war against Ukraine. This unity and sense of support is extremely important for every Ukrainian.
