On September 6-11, a team of specialists from Switzerland worked at the Vilshansky Orphanage: physiotherapists Claudia Leu and Henk Roozeboom and rehabilitation equipment technicians Stephan Wiesmüller, Christian Hodel, Andreas Walter. For some foreign specialists, this is not the first visit to Zakarpattia, for all the rest the visit marked the beginning of fruitful cooperation.

Physiotherapists Claudia Loy and Henk Roozeboom together with local specialist Anatoliy Makhnenko prepared individual physiotherapy programs for the inhabitants of the institution and worked with Anna Mahula - the new speech therapist of the orphanage.

During the visit, the technicians inspected the equipment available at the facility and individually adjusted more than 35 wheelchairs and other aids. Thanks to the installation of appropriate retainers, it has become much more convenient to use wheelchairs.

While working in the institution, the visitors and CAMZ members agreed that at the beginning of 2022 the technician Christian Hodel will arrive in Uzhhorod, where, on the basis of the Faculty of Health and Physical Education of Uzhhorod National University, he will conduct lectures and practical exercises on setting up auxiliary means.

It has to be reminded, that in July our partners from Switzerland have already worked in Zakarpattia - children's physiotherapist Claudia Leu and specialist in setting up rehabilitation equipment Christian Hodel.
